Few songs can hold a candle to the sheer sound of the dance floor that “Till The World Ends”

going down in a blaze of Britney glory.

THE BEST VIDEOS OF 2011

1. “We Found Love”

(Rihanna feat. Calvin Harris)

2. “Yoü and I”

(Lady Gaga)

3. “Run The World (Girls)”

(Beyoncé)

4. “E.T.”

(Katy Perry feat. Kanye West)

5. “Countdown”

(Beyoncé)

6. “Rolling In The Deep”

(Adele)

7. “I Wanna Go”

(Britney Spears)
One of the things that has made Britney Spears one of the most successful artists of all time is her personality—not to mention, she’s smoking hot. At long last, the Britney so many people know and love returns with an attitude in “I Wanna Go,” laying down the law for trash-talking haters and nosy robo-razzi. More than anything, Brit-Brit is bound and determined to have a kick-ass time, poking fun at herself (check out the marquee on the movie theater while she’s smashing paps with her mic) and loosening up for one of the year’s sassiest and most self-aware videos, even dropping the F-bomb in a daydream press conference. Sh-sh-shame on her!

8. “Marry The Night”

(Lady Gaga)

9. “Till The World Ends”

(Britney Spears)
If “Hold It Against Me” was the trumpet sounding the return of Britney Spears as a living legend, “Till The World Ends” is her victory lap. Sharp, smiling, and sexy, Brit means business. Hopping into the sewer for shelter from some Earth-shattering asteroids, Britney and her dancers “whoa-uh-uh-uh-uh-whoa-oh” their way through the end of the world, complete with classic hairflips and a “Slave 4 U”-inspired visual style. If this is the Apocalypse, sign me up.

10. “Blow”

(Ke$ha)

11. “All Of The Lights”

(Kanye West feat. Rihanna and Kid Cudi)

12. “Judas”

(Lady Gaga)

13. “Super Bass”

(Nicki Minaj)

14. “Criminal”

(Britney Spears)
“Criminal” is one of the best videos Britney Spears has made in a while. It’s not necessarily because it’s startlingly original, but because it’s full of what people have come to love and expect from Britney: racy romps, a bad girl attitude, and some wonderfully blatant product placement. In all seriousness, though, B is looking her best (that hair!) as she and real-life beau Jason Trawick get all Bonnie and Clyde on London. And the slow-motion, Mr. & Mrs. Smith-style shot that spans the bridge? Gorgeous.

15. “Born This Way”

(Lady Gaga)

16. “Party Rock Anthem”

(LMFAO feat. Lauren Bennett and GoonRock)

17. “1+1″

(Beyoncé)

18. “Call Your Girlfriend”

(Robyn)

19. “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)”

(Katy Perry)

20. “S&M”

(Rihanna)
