Britney Spears "Making This Album Was So Much Fun"

The new Britney Spears single "Work B*ch" is finally released in the UK today (Sunday November 3rd).

The single is the first release from Britney's forthcoming eighth studio album, "Britney Jean" which gets released in the UK on December 2nd, worldwide on December 3rd.
The album features collaborations with will.i.am, Will Orbit and Sia, who co-wrote the much talked about "Perfume" which Britney is about to premiere in the next 2 days.
Sitting down with me, last month, Britney told me that 'she's feeling really proud' about her forthcoming record, which features more of Britney's lyrical input. In fact the star co-wrote most of the tracks on 'Britney Jean." Speaking to me in London, Britney admitted " its been as cool, I was able to take my time out and really focus myself on this album and what I really want to say and don't want to say and how I come across on general.."
The multi-million selling artist also talked to me about her forthcoming Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood ( "I think the fans will be pleased..but it's a nerve-wracking right now") life as a Mom, working with Will.i.am and why she believes Miley Cyrus deserves to win at next weekend's MTV Europe Music Awards.
I've been playing Britney's records on the radio since 1999 but this was the first time I'd sat down and interviewed an artist who's delivered some of the greatest pop singles of the 21st Century. And I'm glad to report that the Britney I met, fourteen years later, was an articulate, warm and generous interviewee who obviously appreciates her British fans and radiates star quality. And she looked amazing too, let's be honest here.
But beyond Vegas and Britney Jean, what's next for the star? "I'd love more kids and I'd love to do more acting. Maybe a movie with James Franco.." Imagine that.
Oh and she promised I could introduce her on stage in Vegas. That's now on record Britney. So thanks!

Britney confirmed a new song title during an interview with Billy The Kidd titled “Aliens.”

“This guy named William Orbit – he’s from London (he’s spectacular). I did this song with him called “Aliens,” which is really cool. It’s really great.”

She also describes “Perfume” as a song about a girl who’s still in love with a guy, but he’s lusting for someone else, and the girl he left marks her territory on him with her perfume.

Britney & Stevie Nicks' "Till the Dream Ends"

As pop music divas go, Britney Spears and Stevie Nicks are pretty much opposites in just about every way, but they blend together nicely on a new mashup remix called ‘Till the Dream Ends.’

The track combines Brit’s smash hit ‘Till the World Ends’ with ‘Dreams,’ from Fleetwood Mac’s legendary 1977 album ‘Rumours.’ The construction of the remix is simple — the instrumental music from Spears’ dance song is placed under Nicks’ vocals from the Fleetwood Mac classic.
The tempo picks up as Nicks hits the chorus, “Thunder only happens when it’s raining / Players only love you when they’re playing / Say women, they will come and they will go / When the rain washes you clean you’ll know.” The remix hits its peak near the end as Spears’ “Whoa-oh-oh-oh” vocal loop finally appears.
We’ve never imagined Stevie Nicks as a synth-pop performer, but ‘Till the Dream Ends’ makes it work. Brit obviously approves — she posted the mashup on her official Tumblr page. We’re guessing Nicks doesn’t mind being paired with Britney, since she was cool with Destiny’s Child sampling her ‘Edge of Seventeen’ guitar riff in ‘Bootylicious.’
