Center stage, a spotlight, a microphone ... and another singing Spears.

Jamie Lynn Spears, 20, took to a Nashville stage for the first time on Monday night, singing a set of her own original songs to a packed crowd of family and friends.

Grandfather June Spears traveled from the family's hometown of Kentwood, La., with other relatives (although not sister Britney Spears, who is touring overseas) to cheer on Jamie Lynn, sitting near her beaming parents Lynne and Jamie Spears, as well as country music legend Pam Tillis.

"I am so emotional tonight," Lynne told PEOPLE after watching her youngest daughter perform. Her father, Jamie, concurred, saying, "We are so proud of her."
Spears, who has been living in Nashville the past two years with her daughter, Maddie, 3, performed at The Rutledge, a live music venue on 4th Avenue South and took to Twitter to express her appreciation.

"Just wanna thank all my amazing friends and family for coming out tonight!!!" she wrote.

the Queen of Pop and the Diva of Pop was fighting again, rememeber on november 21st.

Tonigh held the MTV Europe Music Awards in Belfast and i can accept that Justin Bieber wins Best Pop cause of "Beliebers" BUT I CANT ACCEPT AND I ONLY CAN THINK IS A BIG FRAUD THE FUCKING BAND THAT NOBODY KNOWS WHO ARE THEY IN THE WHOLE WORLD BIG BANG WINS BEST WORLDWIDE ACT I CANT.

Britney was the only nominated on this category hwo is know in the whole world i dont kow what happend MTV only 2 nominations for THE QUEEN OF POP???

Britney to tone down outfits for Abu Dhabi concert

US pop star Britney Spears will tone down her stage costumes and risqué dance routines in respect to the UAE’s Muslim culture when she plays in Abu Dhabi this month, a source said.
The pop princess is the opening act for the emirate’s Formula 1 after-race concert, headlining a bill that includes Beatles star Paul McCartney, US band Incubus and British outfit The Cult.
A source close to the star told Arabian Business that Spears would amend her performance to avoid offending local customs during her Yas Island show.
A review of Spears’ Femme Fatal concert tour in British newspaper the Daily Mail said the American singer wore “skimpy costumes… showing off her stomach, legs, and as much else as she could get away with.
“The singer bared a great deal of midriff throughout the show, at one point wearing only a pink sequined bikini top on her upper half, paired with the briefest of denim hot pants.”
Britney, who has sold more than 100 million records worldwide with hits such as ‘Baby One More Time’ and ‘Toxic’, is set to play on 11 November.
