David Guetta, Jessie J and Adele have been named among the winners of the 2011 MTV Video Play Awards, which recognise the most played videos across MTV channels around the world.

Females dominated the awards with Jessie J, Adele, Katy Perry and Jenifer Lopez all picking up Double Platinum Awards, and Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and Rihanna each scoring a hat trick of Platinum Awards.
David Guetta has become the first ever winner of four MTV Video Play Awards in one year, taking home Platinum Awards for Who’s That Chick featuring Rihanna, Without You featuring Usher, Where Them Girls At featuring Flo Rida and Nicki Minaj, and Sweat with Snoop Dogg, racking up an impressive count of over 45,000 video plays in 2011. Bruno Mars followed closely behind with over 40,000 video plays, becoming the first ever act to win two Double Platinum Awards - for Grenade and The Lazy Song.
The top music videos were aired over 765,000 times across 60 international MTV channels (excluding all MTV US channels) in 2011. Eight videos earned Double Platinum Awards this year – the most ever in the history of the awards – with over 20,000 plays each. A total of 35 videos garnered Platinum Awards with more than 10,000 plays each, and 14 further videos earned Gold status for 5,000 or more plays.

The MTV Video Play Awards emphasise MTV’s commitment to supporting new acts, championing up and coming artists and launching them around the world. Six of this year’s winners have been an MTV Push artist, MTV’s global campaign that promotes new talent to audiences around the world across all MTV platforms. The Push artists who won awards are LMFAO, Jessie J, Foster The People, Alexis Jordan, Bruno Mars and Jason Derulo.

Music fans have offered industry legend Clive Davis $150,000 for tickets to his pre-Grammy gala in Los Angeles. Saturday’s event is shaping up to be star-studded, with guests including Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Carrie Underwood, Diana Ross, Tom Hanks, Serena Williams, Tony Bennett, Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars, Jane Fonda, Jennifer Hudson, Sacha Baron Cohen, Neil Young, Whitney Houston, Quincy Jones and Sean Parker. But money can’t buy a ticket, as the bash is strictly invite-only.

Will Britney attend Pre-Grammy party?? and The Failed Grammy Awards???

The latest rumor has around say that Britney will attend the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy party next saturday in Los Angeles, night before the Grammy awards.
And E! online have more details about if Britney will attend the Grammy Awards or she doesn´t.

As of today, Spears has no plans to be in the house when the awards are handed out on Feb. 12 at L.A.'s Staples Center.
However, I am told that Brit may be attending Clive Davis and the Recording Academy's legendary pre-Grammy party the night before.
While we're sure fans would love to see Spears at the Grammys, they've got Modern Family on their minds.
A Twitter campaign using "#getbritneyonmodernfamily" took off last night after Spears tweeted that she "can't wait to see the next episode of Modern Family! Funniest show on TV."
Spears tweeted a follower that she "would love to be" on the award-winning sitcom.
