On Friday night, we aired the last installment of our five-part, 100 Greatest Women in Music series. If you happened to miss the countdown, it’s spoiler alert time: VH1 crowned Madonna as the greatest female artist of the last 20 years.
While it’s tough to argue with the musical legacy of Madonna, we received an incredible number of comments, emails, and tweets from our VH1 audience asking about their ability to participate in this countdown. Well, we listened and worked to put together the following bracket-style tournament of The 8 Greatest Women In Pop where you, the reader, will be able to select the most accomplished female artist in the pop music game right now. Britney is the second artist with most visits to the Billboard Pop Chart, with her 27th entry on Pop Songs, Britney passes Madonna and trails only Mariah Carey (29) for most chart visits all-time.

“I Wanna Go” debuts at #37 on this week Pop Songs chart.

Britney Spears involved in That's What Mama Say

The singer just with other celebrities will be special guests to participate in a charity that raises funds for poor children

Britney Spears, U2, Maroon 5, Rihanna, and others are in the project That's What Mama Say (event raises funds for children).

The program will premiere this December 28 and end on January 3, 2011.
Thaw's Mama's (short), will hold its first transmissions over the E! and will feature live performances by Mariah Carey, Maroon 5 and Chris Brown.
Rihanna has not yet been confirmed to perform live at the event, but will be in the soundtrack that will be sold to raise money for children in Canada, North American and South / East.
And on the Princess of Pop, the only thing revealed is that she recorded a video (not sure of that), it was confirmed their presence in vivo
