RUMOR: Rihanna to replace Britney on X Factor?

HollywoodLife.com has learned exclusively that ‘X Factor’ producers want Rihanna on the panel — and Britney Spears is out of the running.
Could Rihanna find herself sitting pretty next to Simon Cowell this fall? An insider at The X Factor tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that negotiations have started for the “Birthday Cake” singer to be added to the show’s illustrious panel — which is pretty vacant after Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger were fired from the show.
Our source adds that discussions for Britney Spears to also join the panel are “pretty much dead.” But that’s OK — We need Britney to focus on making new music!

VOTE VH1: The 8 Greatest Woman In Pop

KAKA VS BRITNEYOn Friday night, we aired the last installment of our five-part, 100 Greatest Women in Music series. If you happened to miss the countdown, it’s spoiler alert time: VH1 crowned Madonna as the greatest female artist of the last 20 years.
While it’s tough to argue with the musical legacy of Madonna, we received an incredible number of comments, emails, and tweets from our VH1 audience asking about their ability to participate in this countdown. Well, we listened and worked to put together the following bracket-style tournament of The 8 Greatest Women In Pop where you, the reader, will be able to select the most accomplished female artist in the pop music game right now. (Sorry, Adele fans: We figured that since she just swept the Grammys, she has enough awards for the moment, so we left her out of this tournament).
Our tournament will run today through next Monday, February 27, and our first round matchups are pretty outrageous: Lady Gaga vs. Madonna, Britney Spears vs. Rihanna, Katy Perry vs. Mariah Carey, and Jennifer Lopez vs. Beyoncé. One tiny administrative note: Be sure and get your first-round vote in by 11:59 p.m. EST on Wednesday, 2/22.

FEMME FATALE, THE ALBUM OF THE YEAR

With more than 3 millions of albums sold and more than 11 millions of singles, the singles of the album climb the tops all around the world. In the United States´ Billboard Hot 100 Chart "Hold It Against Me" made Britney the second artist in Billboard's history to debut at number one more than once, behind Mariah Carey. Femme Fatale is the ALBUM OF THE YEAR, not only cause I say, cause you know it,and critics say it. First the site NME's was named best albums of 2011 so far and the album 'Femme' appears among the 50 records listed, then MuuMuse climbing Femme Fatale of the top 10 of best albums odf the year saying "From the rallying chants of the Ke$ha-penned “Till The World Ends” to the final heartfelt cries of “Criminal,” Spears’ seventh studio album, Femme Fatale, is a ceaselessly catchy record filled with explosive, surging uptempo cuts (“I Wanna Go”), quirky mid-tempos (“How I Roll”) and racy odes to ex-sexin’ (“Inside Out”) that remain fresh and innovative to this day", then AOL named Till the world ends the best single of the year toping the Top 21 saying "no song quite captured 2011's end-of-days vibe like Brit's biggest, boldest epic yet. Sure, the charts have been filled with similar electro bangers since Britney herself ushered in pop's rave-ival during her 'Blackout' days, but 'Till The World Ends' outshines 'em with the sinister euphoria of an exploding sun. And yes, it was better than the remix." and OMFG Music named TTWE best song of the year saying "Adele captured your soul, Gaga stole your innocence, but Britney Spears made you go wild on the dance floor like no other song did in 2011; and the insane catchiness of Britney's signature "woah, oh, oh, oh oh, ooh's" in "Till The World Ends," will never, ever, ever leave you" and the lastest to say Femme Fatale is the best work of the year was Rolling Stones, till now, named "How I Roll" best song of the year and saying "Every sound effect that jumps out of the mix – Brit slurring the word “speakerrrr,” digital finger-snaps, a real beatbox pretending to be a human beatbox – builds the tension; There’s your story of pop music right there.".One thing is clear, the innocent girl of ...Baby one more time becomes on the Queen of Pop doing her best work (better than Blackout and Circus)till now, in 2012 Britney will take some time for relax, gettin married and think on new music way for her next project, she deserve that break after these EPIC GODNEY2011.
