Britney & Stevie Nicks' "Till the Dream Ends"

As pop music divas go, Britney Spears and Stevie Nicks are pretty much opposites in just about every way, but they blend together nicely on a new mashup remix called ‘Till the Dream Ends.’

The track combines Brit’s smash hit ‘Till the World Ends’ with ‘Dreams,’ from Fleetwood Mac’s legendary 1977 album ‘Rumours.’ The construction of the remix is simple — the instrumental music from Spears’ dance song is placed under Nicks’ vocals from the Fleetwood Mac classic.
The tempo picks up as Nicks hits the chorus, “Thunder only happens when it’s raining / Players only love you when they’re playing / Say women, they will come and they will go / When the rain washes you clean you’ll know.” The remix hits its peak near the end as Spears’ “Whoa-oh-oh-oh” vocal loop finally appears.
We’ve never imagined Stevie Nicks as a synth-pop performer, but ‘Till the Dream Ends’ makes it work. Brit obviously approves — she posted the mashup on her official Tumblr page. We’re guessing Nicks doesn’t mind being paired with Britney, since she was cool with Destiny’s Child sampling her ‘Edge of Seventeen’ guitar riff in ‘Bootylicious.’

Britney Spears reveals her new year's health regime

Now that the new year detox season has begun, pop superstar Britney Spears has revealed that working out three times per week is key to keeping in shape.


The 'Till The World Ends' singer explained that regular exercise helps to keep her trim and allows her to enjoy getting ready for red carpet events because she feels confident in her appearance:

"I'm very big on being healthy and working out three times a week. I go to bed early and get my beauty sleep. I also drink lots of water to keep my body hydrated. It takes me an hour-and-a-half to get ready for a red carpet event. I usually take a shower, wash my hair, blow my hair out and have a cup of coffee."

"Then I'll have my make-up artist come in and we'll decided on what we want to go for - a soft or sinister style! From there we look at the wardrobe and see if it makes sense, And then we through the process of getting ready, which is the funnest part."

After the 31-show run was over, the patriotic pop star was able to contribute $1 million to the devastated families of real American heroes. Not bad for a small-town girl from Louisiana.

In a flurry of thigh-highs and midriff tops, Britney Spears skyrocketed to mega stardom – and the harsh pop spotlight has been blowing up her spot ever since. Leonardo DiCaprio is a pretty high-profile celeb activist, so some of y’all might be surprised that Lady Spears actually beat him in donations back in 2005. Britney gave away $590,000, including $350,000 to relief programs related to Hurricane Katrina and $175,000 to Habitat for Humanity while Leo contributed a measly $48,025 in comparison. What’s even more impressive about Brit’s generosity is that she gave all this dough away while her whacky marriage to Kevin Federline fell apart (cue expensive divorce settlement) and her career was sputtering to a screeching halt. In contrast, Leo aka the King of the World was basically rolling in it – making $12 to $15 million per movie. When the going gets tough, the tough give back – and that’s why we love us some Spears.

+ A Southern Belle Gives Back After Katrina

Before she was the biggest pop star in the known universe, Britney Spears was just a small-town girl from Louisiana. So when her homestate was ravaged by Hurricane Katrina, the down-home diva remembered her roots and immediately started contributing to relief efforts. Most recently, she became the ambassador for the St. Bernard Project – a nonprofit that’s building homes for families displaced by the devastating natural disaster. This May, the divine Miss S hosted "An Evening of Southern Style" – a benefit featuring fried delicacies served up by her father (plus her own signature sweet tea recipe) and a slew of star-studded guests such as Kim Kardashian and Selena Gomez. Bless her heart -- Britney really is back, y’all!
