JC Chasez talks about Britney on X Factor

MMC (a 1989 reboot of The Mickey Mouse Club) has been snagging headlines all over the place lately since its alumni are more omnipresent than ever -- not only is ex- Britney Spears rumored to be joining The X Factor as a season two judge, but ...Baby One More Time served as a not-so-subtle kiss-off in an on-going cold war between The Voice mentor Christina Aguilera and contestant Tony Lucca -- both former members of the Mouse House as well.
So when I was chatting with J.C. Chasez (who also got his start on The Disney Channel reboot) about his work as a judge on MTV's America's Best Dance Crew, I was curious to hear what he thought about Britney dishing out advice and Christina dishing out disses.
While many (yours truly included) aren't in favor of Britney sidling up to Simon Cowell, J.C. couldn't be more excited by the possibility. "Britney's at a point in her life where she can handle it. If you can be a mother and go through as much controversy as she's gone through and come out the other side in one piece, then you can pretty much take on anything the TV world is going to throw at you," J.C. tells TheInsider.com.
He went on to explain why he believes she can bring something fresh to the format. "People can call her this, they can call her that – at a time in her life they called her unstable – but from my eyes, I call her successful. And there's a reason for that. Someone can be successful for one album based totally off luck but when you're a success for as long as she's been a success, luck has nothing to do with it. There's an insight and an understanding of what the public wants that she has. Britney will be able to share that with the people she's judging and the audience at home as well."
And while J.C. had equally kind words for Christina ("She's a great judge because she understands the voice itself. From top to bottom. She's not just a vocalist, she's a vocal acrobat."), he takes exception at a couple of the comments she's lobbed at Tony.
"I respect her judgment, but I personally didn't think she was right to call him one-dimensional," J.C. said. "I'm biased, of course, but the one thing I can tell you – from listening to his music and watching him perform – is that he is anything but one dimensional."
However, J.C. does share Christina's hope that Tony's famous fans (she called him on the carpet for getting Twitter support from Justin Timberlake, another ex-Mouseketeer) aren't the reason he comes out on top. "Tony deserves to win, but I don't want to see him just win because people rallied around him because he was on The Mickey Mouse Club or friends with so-and-so. I want the public to essentially rally around him because he has a lot to say. His voice is dynamic and he has a lot of experiences to share through his music."

"The Wanted" talks mad about Britney

The Wanted, who opened for her on her Femme Fatale Tour, might be a breakout band, but they’re sticking their unwanted foot in their unwanted mouths when they talked smack about Britney AND Christina Aguilera! Yes, there might be a healthy feud with B and C fans, but when these quacks talk about both these pop princesses, forces must unite to stop their fuckery!

A source that works backstage at The Voice overheard The Wanted saying terrible things. They said:

“Both Christina and Adam did NOT like them at all. The guy named Tom in the band asked Christina if she felt more beautiful now that she lost all that weight? We were all shocked! She didn’t quite hear the whole question and asked her assistant if she heard what he said? But then Max jumped in and said “She is beautiful no matter what you say” in mocking kind of way. Christina’s boyfriend Matt Rutler was also backstage and didn’t like what he was hearing. Finally Christina said, “You boys better calm down and focus on yourselves.” She walked off really mad when Tom came out and told her not to worry and that “Britney still needs to work on her looks too for X Factor. It must be all those drugs she is on.” Christina was so mad!
The rest of the evening Christina ignored them. The boys didn’t understand why but then one of their assistants reminded them of the stuff they said earlier about Christina’s weight loss and Britney’s bad looks and drug taking. Nathan (who is also in the band) was really upset those things were ever said but the other guys ignored him. Tom said, “Why is she acting like such a bitch for?” Max agreed saying they were only joking around. So awkward!”

Simon Cowell has finally admitted ... he's GUNNING HARD to get Britney Spears as a judge on the next season of "X Factor."

Cowell just called in to "TMZ Live" ... and told us, "I would love to have her on the show ... I think she would be a fascinating person to sit next to."

Simon said he couldn't reveal too much about the negotiations ... but did seem optimistic and hinted that he would have an answer from Britney's camp within the week.

BREAKING NEWS: Brett Miller´s husband files for divorce!!!!

This is a really sad news, according to TMZ our Queen best friend and supporter, her great assistant, Brett Miller is goin to split, her husband files the petition for divorce on VALENTINES DAY!!! WTF? nooo that should be awful day!!! Brett's husband, reality TV producer Frank Lionetti, has filed a petition to end the marriage ... citing "irreconcilable differences."
According to the docs, Brett and Frank were married on January 28, 2011 and separated on February 14, 2012. They have no children.
And there's this Frank wants spousal support and attorney's fees from his estranged wife (reminder: she's an assistant).

Even more disturbing, the free-wheeling youngsters like to play with the candles Britney leaves burning around the house. They seem to be fascinated by fire.

"At a recent family get-together, Kevin wouldn’t let his kids light the barbecue pit, but later they were caught trying to start their own fire with one of Britney’s lighters in their room," revealed the insider.

"Kevin’s fit to be tied. He says he’s had it with Britney’s ‘lazy mothering.’"

Both camps were back and forth on the money but now they have finally come to agreement on the fee,” says one insider with intimate knowledge of the pending deal. “That was the big sticking point and now, thankfully, it’s been sorted. All they need to do now is work out the smaller points. The fact the money is now set, means that there is nothing stopping this from becoming a reality.Jason, who’s said to become Brit’s conservator, will be there for Britney every step of the way. Literally. He’ll be a producer on the show.
“Jason is expected to be there every day Britney is on set. He is her rock and will help guide her through the process. He is the person she trusts the most,” said a second source. “this is an exciting time for [Britney]. It’ll be a fun project and she is welcoming the chance to mentor up-and-coming artists. She loves the idea of helping emerging talent get the recognition they deserve and is really looking forward to being on the show.”
“She gets on very well with Simon. He has worked hard at persuading her to start this new chapter in her career. She is an icon, and the perfect example of what having the X Factor means.”

Brit’s also excited to be a part of something special her fans can enjoy.

“She’s really looking forward to the project and being able to connect with her fans.”

“The decision of who will join Simon, Britney and L.A. is yet to be made. Simon really wanted Britney confirmed first. Once she signs, he can make the final preparations.”

Britney fand killed for sexual orientation!!!

 

Daniel Zamudio, a big Britney fan, was attacked at a park in Santiago, Chile because he was gay and died from those injuries early last week, according to CNN.
Hundreds of neighbors gathered at his funeral to remember. Seen above are photos of Daniel’s memorial with a Britney picture placed on top of his coffin.
Chilean President Sebastian Pinera addressed the incident this week.
“We want to reiterate today that we have made a commitment. We are not going to tolerate any kind of discrimination against Chilean citizens based on their socioeconomic status, their religion or sexual orientation,” he said.
After Zamudio died, authorities raised the charges against the men to aggravated murder.
“As a government, we did this in the name of millions of Chileans who, after the murder of Daniel Zamudio, feel that Chile has to change,” regional Gov. Cecilia Perez said.
On Friday, the United Nations added its call for passage of an anti-discrimination law.
“We deplore the violent criminal act that took the life of this young man and urge the Chilean Congress to pass a law against discrimination, including on grounds of sexual orientation and gender identity, in full compliance with relevant international human rights standards,” said Rupert Colville, a spokesman for the U.N. high commissioner for human rights.
“The case should be seen in the wider context of hate-motivated violence against lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons around the world,” he added.
